Obsessed

Givenchy's New Collection

Although I never really liked cats, I would wear every single one of them in the photos below.
Look closely, and you'll see what I mean.
RICCARDO TISCI almost didn't accept the offer to design for the house.
I for one, am SO GLAD that he did, because, since his stint at Givenchy,
not only have I developed a new appreciation for cats,
but his story is quite inspiring for up-and-coming fashionistas such as Lady Sapphire.

Check it out:
"I wasn't interested," says Tisci. "Not at all. I was going to say no. But the week before, my mother called me and said to me, 'I am going to tell you something I haven't even told your sisters: I think I am going to sell our house because your sisters are struggling, they're having children, they need the money. I will go to a retirement home.' When I heard that it was like a knife in my heart. I felt like such a failure, that my mother had to sell the house of my father whom I don't remember. And then I went to Paris, and they showed me a contract with all these zeros on it, and it was like help from God. I thought 'If I sign this, my mother will never have to worry again.' So I signed it."

No wonder they wanted him to replace Galliano at Dior.
Someone of such ethics would be perfect to clean up the terrible reputation JG brought on the house.

Today's (and more than today as well) obsession is with Bryan Boy.
He has had quite the charmed life, going from being bored in the Philippeans to being front row in
many of the most prestigious fashion shows around the globe.
Even being gifted with items such as this Loewe  classic Amazon bag in black suede.
And not to mention these FABULOUS Prada Glasses.
So much luxury, and he manages to stay on the ground.
Props to Bryan Boy to being awesome.
And I am OBSESSED with his Pradas!!!
Lady Sapphire is SO UTTERLY OBSESSED with Abbey Lee's hair in the new Versace campaigns that she straight up cut, and dyed her lovely and long locks of red.
What a fun summer look this is going to be!!!

Alaïa Laser-cut leather wristlet bag. This thing is cute, classic, modern, and pure amazing all in one.

SLEEP!
It's fun to obsess about bags and such, but SLEEP is a must have!!!

I found this photo of my friend Rachel and my red shoes in Paris summer of 2007. I bought these shoes on sale in a store in Stockholm, and still have them. Red, as it is with every fiery female, is an obsession of mine, and, needless to say, so are shoes. Get your pair and rock your socks off today!!!
